Hot Java Cool Jazz A Huge Success:  A BIG congratulations to Jazz 1 on an incredible performance at the Paramount last Friday night! You wowed the audience and did BHS proud yet again. Thank you to Starbucks for their generous support of the Arts, and to the people who made the night go smoothly, including Patti Kashiwa, Nancy and Erik Murphy, and all who bought tickets and promoted sales. Your support is greatly appreciated.

Ellington Deposit Past Due:  The $500 deposit for the upcoming NYC trip was due on March 30! There are still 13 people who have not made this very important payment. Please send in a check immediately, or pay online for a small service charge  here . Thank you!
Choir

Congratulations to all who participated in last night's NW Region Choral Showcase! It was a spectacular evening featuring Kindergarten through 12th grade performances from Adams, Blaine, Coe, Lawton, West Woodland, Hamilton, McClure, and Ballard. The evening concluded with all students singing Bonse Ana, a traditional song from Zambia which means "all children who can sing should sing". 

Advanced & Concert Choirs Southern California Trip and Festival Itineraries: 
For the Festival Schedule, Advanced Chorale is "Ensemble 1" and Concert Choir is "Ensemble 2".

State Solo & Ensemble Competition: April 27th  in Ellensburg
Chamber Choir, Mens Ensemble, and Vocal Jazz are participating in the competitions. Drivers and chaperones are needed. Sign Up Genius for volunteers will be available soon.

Seattle JazzED Summer Camps: Scholarships Available. 
Seattle JazzED is a non-profit music education organization in the Central District. We're dedicated to creating awesome opportunities for kids and ensuring equal access for all with scholarships and instrument loan assistance. Currently over 500 kids from 70+ schools come through our doors annually.
