We are very excited to announce that we will be running summer camp starting June 8th! We plan on running for the 10 weeks as scheduled. As the following information will be similar for all three camps please read carefully as we do have multiple policy changes .

Major and Little League Summer Camps

Steps Harbor Bay Club is taking to keep campers and staff safe:

  • Group sizes will be smaller.

  • Camper to staff ratio will be smaller 6:1 max.

  • Groups will have staggered start times to ensure we do not have too many people arriving at the same time.

  • Staff will only stay with one group of children throughout the entire week.

  • Each group will have its own bin of equipment.

  • All equipment will be sanitized daily.

  • Temperatures will be taken before children are cleared to join camp.

  • Campers will stay outside and in pop up event tents unless using the bathroom.

  • High touch equipment like the play structure will only be used by little league.

  • Staff is expected to practice physical distancing with other staff members working in different camp groups.

  • Campers will not be able to socialize or eat lunch with campers in other groups.

  • We will have three total groups for our league camps, 2 groups of 12 Major League kids, and 1 group of 12 Little League kids.

Things will look different at Summer Camp this year. We want to be able to have fun and be safe. All campers and parents are expected to follow the following protocols set in place.

  • Upon arrival parents and campers are expected to stand 6 ft. from each other on the designated spots and wait with their child until they are cleared to join camp.

  • Parents will not be able to walk into the facility.

  • Please show up promptly at your designated camp start time or will not be allowed on the deck.

  • Campers and parents are expected to social distance and wear a mask until cleared to join camp.

  • We will not be accepting drop-ins however if you contact the youth department during business hours and space is available, we will do our best to accommodate for the following day and the rest of the week.

  • Campers must bring lunches in disposable packaging only, i.e. no lunch boxes, water bottles or containers. A designated staff member will walk around with a large water cooler and paper cups to ensure children are drinking water.

  • All AM extended care is canceled.

  • All PM extended care for Major league is canceled.

  • Field trips canceled

  • Little league will hold extended care until 5:00 p.m. sharp. A late fee of $5.00 a min will be charged after 5:05 p.m.
