National Hispanic Heritage Month gets underway from September 15 to October 15, and finally, after a long cold summer, in September San Franciscans enjoy warm weather.

In addition, Cine+MAS, the San Francisco Latino Film Festival kicks off its 9th season on September 15th. I am working with Executive Director, Lucho Ramirez, to produce the Chilean Night Filmmakers Party and to promote the Chilean film, Tomás Alzamora's, "La Mentirita Blanca" (Little White Lie).

Saturday, September 23rd, at the Roxie Theater--8:30 PM.

We are delighted that Martín Schlotfeldt, the film score composer, will be present at the screening. Martín just completed a course at CRē*8 Music Academy in West Hollywood, and at this moment in time he's an intern with Fil Eisler, music composer for the TV show "Empire" and the film "CHIPs."

The Cine+MAS team is especially grateful to Mr. Enrique Barriga Larraín, Consul General of Chile in San Francisco, for taking time out of his busy schedule to attend the film screening.

After the film, join filmmakers, special guests, and film-goers for the fun Chilean Night after-party at Slate Bar, with DJ Lamont spinning everything from Rock Latino to classic Motown.
