Lady Lobos Capture CIFChampionship in Dramatic Fashion
On a cold blistery night at Monsoor Memorial Stadium, the Los Amigos girls soccer team played with heart and never backed down from the visiting Westridge High School Tigers. After a scoreless first half was followed by a scoreless second and two scoreless overtime periods the Lobos headed into a penalty shoot out.

The Lobos would hit their first three attempts and after their starter left the game early, rely on a back-up goalie to help seal the game. The first Westridge shot went in before the next two sailed over the top of the goal. It came down to the fourth Lobo kick that eventually hit the back of the goal for the game winner! Congrats to the Lobos on an amazing season in which they captured the Garden Grove League Championship and the program's first ever CIF title!
