Steve (Jarrott) McBrayer, center in the picture, fell in love with theatre back in high school by starting out working backstage as part of the crew. He was always too afraid to actually get out on stage. Now that he's older, and according to him, has a little more confidence, he decided to audition for "The Pirates of Penzance". "Thankfully, Jamie found a spot for me where I'm having the time of my life." according to Steve.
When he's not on our stage, Steve owns and runs an internet only radio station: Q Star FM. He hosts a daily show called "The Steve Jarrott Morning Show" where he showcases his different original characters, plays comedy and great music from the 60's thru early 90's. Steve is also co-host of the weekly comedy/talk show "The Wrong Channel" with three other talented and funny people, fashioned after the old "Dick Van Dyke Show".
Steve's creative abilities go beyond stage and radio. His voice talents have been utilized in animations from the cartoon band "Apology None" as the great "HooDoo" (Lidsville) to the voices of "Dr. McCoy" and "Scotty" in the animated Star Trek parody, "Star Trip". While Steve is 56 years young, he feels that his theatre journey is only just beginning.
We at SPCT look forward to seeing what is next!
