Cy-Hope has had another amazing year of mentoring CFISD middle and high school students through Ambassadors of Compassion. They just completed their Serve days at Impact Houston - serving Houston's homeless. We are already looking toward the fall when we'll have another group of students ready to participate in this vital program.

The Howard Hughes Corporation has unveiled their spring fundraiser to take place in March and April 2019. The slogan is "Your Home Can Change Lives" and will give new home buyers $1000 to give to one of three charities in their honor: Cy-Hope, Cy Fair Education Foundation and Leukemia Lymphoma Foundation. Please share your stories how Cy-Hope impacts our community with your neighbors and friends!

Lone Star Cy-Fair's Hope Chest Super Shopper!
My name is Dr.

Lister and I am extremely pleased to be a supporter of Cy-Hope, specifically The Hope Chest. I am a regular visitor to the Hope Chest, a resale store I discovered a year and a half ago after Hurricane Harvey. As a regular resale shopper, I was amazed and extremely impressed with the "boutique" feel of The Hope Chest. I have purchased a large amount of my work and casual clothing there and am always complimented and asked where I shop. In addition, I have purchased furniture and houseware accessories and could not be more pleased with the quality of everything I buy. I literally can wear an entire outfit from my earrings, outfit, purse and shoes all from the Hope Chest! I have shared with many people around the city about the Hope Chest and how the money supports charity. I would be remiss if I did not mention the friendly and knowledgeable
staff and especially the Christmas shop! The Hope Chest has a supporter and customer for life!

Ambassador of Compassion Serve Days
Students and mentors of Cy-Hope's Ambassadors of Compassion joined together to spend their day cooking a meal for the Houston homeless community, packing hygiene kits, sorting clothing, learning about homelessness, and finally serving the meal they prepared for the group. Impact Houston hosted the group as we served together to show students impact that they can have on their community. From our AOC students:

Dierker's Champs to Visit JJ Watt Charity Classic
Because Cy-Hope received funding for our middle-school Dierker's Champs teams from the J.J. Watt Foundation, they have invited ten of our Dierker's Champs kids to participate in the J.J. Watt Charity Classic at Minute Maid Park. The Texans Defense will play softball against the Texans Offense.
The kids will meet the players and do drills with them before the game at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 4!

Play Ball! - Dierker's Champs Kicks off with Camp!
Thanks to everyone who helped our kids have an awesome time at the kick-off baseball camp for Dierkers Champs! A special thank you Cy-Fair baseball team for hosting another great clinic. Also, thanks to Preservation of Life for lunch and Todd Ray Allstate for water. We had an amazing amount of donations for equipment and cannot wait for the games to start next month!
