NJHC COMMUNITY VOICE SURVEY

Almost 2,000 responses to the Community Voice Survey in our five counties, with more to come!

This survey is being distributed by the NJHC and 60 partner organizations to gather perspectives from community members about which issues matter the most for their health and well-being. As part of our community health needs assessment, this data will help inform the next phase of our collaborative efforts in each of the counties.   Special thanks to all our partners for your help in distributing the survey!

NJHC Participated in County Health Rankings Day

On March 14th, NJHC Manager, Catherine Connelly participated in the County Health Rankings & Roadmaps Press Conference at the State House Annex in Trenton. You can view a clip of the press conference here

The annual County Health Rankings & Roadmaps provide insight into the well-being of counties across the country, with detailed explanations of each factor that influences health - including issues beyond traditional medical care such as education, income, community safety, housing and transit. The rankings focus on two important measures: how long people live and quality of life. This year's data also includes a focus on the impact of race and place on health.

The data helps illustrate  what drives health differences across New Jersey counties and provides actionable strategies that can help  create healthier communities across the state.
