Danielle Adriance-Wensel |
Danielle Adriance-Wensel has been promoted to the position of Director of OPWDD Services.
She will oversee all programs and services offered by AIM under the New York State Office for People with Developmental Disabilities.
This includes Medicaid Service Coordination, Brokerage and Fiscal Intermediary Services, Community Habilitation and Family Support Services.
Adriance-Wensel previously supervised Medicaid Service Coordination.
In other staffing changes:
- Anne Crozier was promoted to OPWDD Community Habilitation Program Coordinator. In this program, AIM's team of direct support professionals works with people with developmental disabilities in their homes and the community to help them learn independent living skills.
- Sandra Gates was hired as a NY Connects Independent Living Specialist.
NY Connects is a statewide partnership between independent living centers and county offices for the aging to connect people with disabilities and seniors with long-term supports and services.
Gates will work with the Steuben County Office for the Aging and the Livingston County Office for the Aging to provide information, options counseling and referrals in those counties.
