This is LT's quarterly newsletter designed to help LT alumni interested in board service identify and connect with nonprofit organizations that are recruiting new board members.

Board service is a valuable way to get engaged and make an impact. However, it can be difficult.  The program BoardTalks™, designed by Janet Boguch, LT'89, is a unique learning opportunity offered to board members from all types and sizes of nonprofit organizations who meet in a confidential and collegial setting to discuss "board best practices" and to solve current organizational problems. The Associated Recreation Council is the 501(c)(3) nonprofit partner of Seattle Parks and Recreation.
