Tourism Efforts to Boost Tarpon Springs
In a continuing effort to promote tourism, the Tourism Development Committee at its Feb. 28 meeting welcomed marketing professionals from Visit Florida and Visit St. Pete Clearwater.  Jen Carlisle, VF, and Kristin Coryn, VSPC, discussed how their organizations help market our city and businesses, and how individual businesses can benefit from their resources.
Welcome New and Expanding Businesses!
Stop in and support the City's newest business openings and expansions.  Blue Bayou B&B, is a 7-bed B&B located at 427 E. Tarpon Ave.  The owners did a beautiful restoration of the 1905-era Craftsman style building.

Fuel Bar on Lime, 35 W. Lime St., located at the rear of Anytime Fitness, opened in late February and offers smoothies, acai and pitaya bowls, healthy meal prep and more.  If a smoothie won't cut it, check out Pinocchio's Pizza, recently relocated from Palm Harbor, for pizza, garlic bites, calzones, and more. Pinocchio's is near BJ's Asian Fusion in the Manatee Plaza near BJ's Asian Fusion, 811 S. Pinellas Ave.

Finally, mark your calendars for a ribbon cutting and grand re-opening of Ambiance Hair Salon, Saturday, March 30, 5 p.m.  The salon moved from 118 to 124 E. Tarpon Ave., and is celebrating its expansion with a grand opening appreciation party.
