Thank You!
We like to thank our donors for their generosity! The kids were not able to help me write thank you notes in person this spring, so they submitted thank yous digitally, and my daughter, River, and I compiled them all and sent them out last week!
Junior Choir
Caroline Sienkewicz joined the Chorus Angelicus family as a chorister in the Junior Choir in the spring! (What a time to join, hey, Caroline? Hang in there with us! We want you to experience the full Chorus Angelicus experience in the future!!)   DON'T TOUCH MY STUFF is a two-hour radio show of eclectic music, hosted by dad and daughter duo Conrad and Caroline - and it was Caroline who named the show. They started in January and their show airs live every Saturday at 2pm on WAPJ 89.9 FM, and streaming live at  www.wapj.org  or on the Tune In app. Sometimes they have a theme, and listeners can call them (860 489-9033) with a request. They play all genres of music - pop songs, New Wave, blues, instrumentals, old stuff, new stuff, whatever sounds good to them. They will give a shout out to Chorus Angelicus this Saturday, so make sure you listen in and/or make a request! Folks can also find WAPJ on Facebook - if they hit the "like" button, they will get updates and reminders about DON'T TOUCH MY STUFF and other great shows! They hope you can tune in!
Senior Choir
Gabriel asked the Seniors to work on a little video project. There will be more to follow throughout the summer! Here is Philip Larson performing all three parts! Incredible!
Information From Gabriel
During this crazy summer 2020, we continue to monitor all the developments in the world of education, specifically music education, to be ready to tackle the fall in full force. The ACDA (American Choral Directors Association) released a very useful document that  encourages us, teachers and choral conductors, to be ready for a threefold scenario in September.

Scenario 1, Face to Face Instruction. We meet in smaller rotating groups, with singers ten feet apart. Everyone should wear masks and follow strict protocols about socializing. The venue will be disinfected immediately before use.

Scenario 2, Hybrid instruction. We still meet in person once a week but we add Zoom rehearsals and events though which we continue to develop our musicianship skills.

Scenario 3, Remote Instruction. This is what we have been doing since mid-March, but we will take it to a new level, adding special guests and assignments that will enhance the chorister´s experience so we are ready to be amazing when it is time to come back to the live stage!

Happy July everyone! Be on the lookout for our Canticle of Brother Sun virtual choir coming out soon. There will be an incredible guest singer joining us there, in the virtual space!!

Cheers ,

Gabriel

Paul Butcher Memorial Scholarship Fund

Consider making a donation to the Butcher Memorial Scholarship Fund. The objective is to provide every interested and financially eligible family with a scholarship sufficient enough to enable their child to participate in our programs. The present economic climate has intensified current and prospective families' need for scholarship support and, as such, there has been greater pressure on our scholarship program. This was a cause dear to Paul's heart.
