Dear Colleagues and Students,

Over the past several months, the Faculty of Arts and Science has embarked on a strategic planning exercise in consultation with students, faculty, staff, and the Dean's Council, to facilitate a common vision and strategic priorities we can all work towards over the next five years. Information on the activities undertaken can be found here.

As a member of the Arts and Science community, we encourage you to review this draft of the strategic plan and invite you to provide constructive feedback on the proposed vision statement, guiding principles and the five strategic priorities and the accompanying strategies that are being proposed.

Please join us for one of our town hall meetings next week to provide your feedback and your thoughts on the following questions:
  1. Does the plan inspire you?
  2. What do you like about the Strategic Plan?
  3. What do you not like about the Strategic Plan?
  4. What would you change in the plan?
If you are unable to attend one of the town hall meetings next week, please let us know your feedback through our online form by March 15th.

Thank you for your thoughtful insights and inspirational ideas.
Sincerely,

Barbara Crow, PhD
Dean, Faculty of Arts and Science
