December 9 |
Dear Assumption Family,
The Christmas season is in full swing at Assumption. The decorations are up and the anticipation is growing. Last week we kicked off the Advent season with our wreath lighting prayer service. Our second candle will be lit Monday morning at 8:30 am in the Parish Hall. I invite everyone to join us for this student led service.
The Christmas Concert was a great success as always. Students shared their talents in song and dance as well as through artistic expression with hand crafted ornaments. These ornaments were available for sale to support our Giving Tree.
Giving Tree tags are available in the main lobby of the school. Please consider selecting a tag and purchasing a gift for needy families in our community. All purchased gifts should be returned to the school by December 17.
Ornaments are still available for sale, if you were not able to attend the concert and would like to purchase your child's ornament, please contact Mrs. Gourley in the main office.
The true spirit of Christmas
is evident in our halls and hearts. I hope you can find the joy and take time to share your good fortune with others this holiday season.
Many Blessings,
Steven J. Santoli
Principal
