The World Needs Visionaries
A Message from the President
Today, let us pause to reflect on the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

On April 4, 1968, this great African-American man was assassinated because he lived a life of visionary and selfless leadership that impacted the course of history. He is a model for all those who champion against social injustice, bigotry and discrimination. While his death was a momentous loss, we should be thankful that he dedicated and devoted his life encouraging our nation to deliver its promise of liberty, justice and the pursuit of happiness.
