Greetings!
Happy March! We are gearing up for our first ever Health Equity Cohort, and want to sincerely thank everyone who applied. We are grateful for the work that you do every day to advance health equity in your communities.
While we gear up for our Health Equity Cohort, CHTI will return with our broader community offerings in April. In the meantime, we want to take this time to highlight some great partner events. We encourage you to check them out, and we'll see you in April!

The Boston CHNA-CHIP Collaborative is a new initiative in greater Boston that is combining the power of
multiple public health and health care stakeholders, including hospitals, community organizations, health centers, and the Boston Public Health Commission.
This collaborative is launching a Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA), that will identify the health needs and strengths of the greater Boston area, and a Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP), that will lay out strategies to address the health-related issues that emerge from the CHNA.
If you live in Boston, they want to hear from you. Participate and have the chance to win an iPad! The survey is available online in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Vietnamese, Arabic, Haitian Creole, and Chinese.

Moving Along: How We Can Build More Physically Active Communities
Thursday, April 11th, 2019
2:00 pm - 3:30 pm
Description:
Are you working to get your community more active? This online training will provide a broad overview of how our built environments can help or hinder physical activity and the actions we can take to address this. Our trainer will introduce a new, evidence-based tool created by the Physical Activity Policy Research Network Plus (PAPRN+) with actions that people working in public health can take to effect policy, systems, and environmental change (PSE) in their communities around active living. As a result of this training, participants will be able to assess the work they are already doing and strategically plan for more physically active communities.
Trainer:
Karin Valentine Goins, MPH, Research Project Director in the Division of Preventive and Behavioral Medicine at University of Massachusetts Medical School
