Achieving better results together by following best practice in equipment control etiquette

As the end of the year approaches, it is important to take some time out to focus on maintaining good equipment control etiquette. This will improve the effectiveness and efficiency of interactions with trading partners and ensure your supply chain is at peak performance. 

Here's a refresher on some of the key recommendations created with our customers: 
+ Ensure that appropriate documentation accompanies equipment movements
+ Be proactive with your trading partners - contact them before correcting or rejecting transactions
+ Respond in a timely manner to queries raised by trading partners
+ Engage in open and courteous communication with your trading partners

Giving you time back in your day with new enhancements on myCHEP

In line with your feedback, we're excited to announce that we have made several enhancements and fixes to myCHEP including the addition of an Authorised Transfers - Rejection Alert.

Additional training videos are available when you log into myCHEP along with support resources on CHEPedia (click here to access). These are designed to help you get the most out of this portal. Keep a look out for new training resources coming soon on Exchanges and Corrections Requiring Authorisation.

Know about corrections and reversals sooner

Register to receive automated alerts on corrections or reversals impacting your account. This will enable you to manage these more quickly and will assist mitigate potential disputes with your trading partners.

CHEP Customer Forums all wrapped up for 2018

5 cities over 3 months with over 140 attendees involved this year from different sectors including Fresh, Consumer Goods, Retail and Logistics. 

These forums provided an excellent opportunity for collaboration, networking and helping to drive best practice in the community.

Attendees had the opportunity to share their views and experiences with CHEP and build valuable connections with each other. Sessions featured:
  • Case studies with The Kraft Heinz Company in Brisbane and Redox in Sydney
  • Workshop on equipment controller on-boarding
  • Updates on CHEP initiatives
  • Presentation on available resources and reporting from CHEP
  • myCHEP training
Next steps - we are now finalising additional on-boarding and support resources, along with training material for the launch of the Exchange module in myCHEP due in 2019.
