Cassidy Announces BUILD Grants for I-12, Port Fourchon Improvement Projects U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D., announced today two grants from the U.S. Department of Transportation for infrastructure improvement projects in Louisiana.
What is happening on U.S. Hwy. 190 in Covington? The US 190 Widening Project from Hwy 25 to US 190 Business in St. Tammany Parish is approximately 2.7 miles long. The project also includes improvements to approximately 1,400 ft. of LA 25 and to 1,400 ft. of LA 21 (Military Road). The purpose of the project is to improve traffic capacity and reduce congestion and delays along Collins Blvd. between LA 25 and US 190B.
