We're Gearing Up for Our Spring Celebration
Get Your Tickets Now, We'll Fill Up Fast!

Airport Marina Counseling Service (AMCS) will kick off its 15th Annual "Spring into Well-Being" Celebration amidst some of the most turbulent times in recent memory.

Mental health issues are at the forefront of nearly every news story. From suicide attempts and school shootings to the struggles of those dealing with growing up LBGT, making sure everyone has access to mental health services has never been more important.

Today, AMCS provides thousands of counseling sessions a year and is open 7 days a week so that working families can have access to counseling.

The "Spring into Well-Being" Celebration is the most important way for us to raise the funds necessary to continue our mission of providing low-cost mental health services and training the next generation of mental health professionals.

The event will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2019, from 6-9 p.m. at the Los Angeles Airport Marriott Ballroom. Join us as we honor the 2019 Champion of Mental Health, Jane St. John, RE/MAX Estate Properties. This year's goal is $300,000. I hope we can count you in. It will be an evening you won't forget!

The Rotary Club of Westchester will honor AMCS and its 2019 Citizen of the Year, AMCS CEO Eden Garcia-Balis, at its "Get Down 'n Derby" event at 6 p.m. on March 16 at the Hyatt Regency LAX Hotel.

"I am honored to be recognized by the Westchester Rotary Club and am especially proud of the fact that the club is honoring the clinic as well," Garcia-Balis said. "This award signals the close relationship AMCS has with the community and the many ways in which we partner with each other to make our community the best it can be."
