Each year CHC provides training and consulting to hundreds of agencies, their staff of nurses, therapists, personal care providers, and aides as well as to family and other caregivers who provide in-home services to the infirm, chronically ill and disabled  to improve care, quality and safety. 

CHC received an average rating of 4.98 Stars out of a possible 5 for Learner rating of Quality and Program satisfaction across all live and online training in 2017. Also, 98 percent of CHC's Learners would recommend training sessions to a colleague!

A native of Ohio, Barbara majored in Nursing at Kent State and enlisted in the Army Nurse Corps in her junior year. After a brief stint at West Point, she was lucky enough to be assigned to Fitzsimmons Army Medical Center in Denver, CO, where she has remained for 40+ years. As an RN/BSN, Barbara has worked in large hospitals, a small rural hospital, a school nurse and as a Nurse Aide Instructor. She enjoys educating professionals and care givers to improve quality of patient care and safety for all individuals.
