A New Semester Brings New Beginnings
Team,

Today’s first day of Fall classes is unlike any other. Each of us enters the semester forever impacted by the events of the last six months, and each of our situations are unique to us as individuals. However, we all have one thing in common as we start classes today. We are all here because we know the value of education.
You have spent the last six months doing all you can to provide an environment where we can continue to deliver education. This new semester is a re-commitment to helping students better their lives through education. We are re-committing to the fact that an education is worth the effort, even in times when the effort is much harder than it was even a year ago.

In fact, this Fall, the value of education may be more pronounced than ever. As our society adjusts to the needed social changes that are occurring, the economic impact of the pandemic, and the future changes yet to come, our students will need the education we provide to be ready to help our state and our nation find our way forward. And the education we provide will make them well equipped to be the guides for that change.

I am proud to be a part of this University. This Fall we will continue our mission.
