SPRING is officially here...which means that the golf season -
AND the RDGA Spring Meeting at Monroe Golf Club on Tuesday, April 10 - are right around the corner! To those of you who have already emailed your RSVP (to
info@RDGA.org)

BUT - to those of you from whom we have not heard - WHERE ARE YOU? PLEASE let us know if you can make it SOON - we need to know if you are coming by March 30!
If you are "on the fence" about coming to the Spring Meeting, here's some incentive: We are also hosting a "
Fall Event" in October to wrap up the 2018 season - an event that will include a
ROUND OF GOLF at MONROE GOLF CLUB.
HOWEVER, in order to play in October, we need you to attend the RDGA Spring Meeting on April 10!
Incentives aside, we have a great line-up of items to share with you at the Spring Meeting, including:
- Packets will be available with tournament schedule posters for you to put up on your club's bulletin boards
- A poster with YOUR name and PHOTO on it (don't forget to send your photo to Dave at the RDGA office at: daveeaton@RDGA.org)
- Several of your fellow Delegates will be speaking about their experiences, as well as offering advice about their service as an RDGA Delegate
- Free hors d'ouvres and a cash bar
Monroe is always a great setting - and should help us all get in the mood for the golf season!

RDGA FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS: Do you know a college student at your club who is in need of a scholarship for the 2018-19 school year? Did you know that the
RDGA Foundation Inc. and the
RDGA have been providing scholarships for Rochester-area students since 1984?
To be eligible for the
RDGA Foundation Scholarship, applicants must be legal residents of the State of New York in one of the following counties served by the Rochester District Golf Association:
Genesee,
Livingston,
Monroe,
Ontario,
Orleans,
Steuben,
Wayne and
Yates. Applicants must also have been accepted for admission as - or already be enrolled as - a full-time student in an undergraduate program at an accredited college/university.

USGA 'TOURNAMENT MANAGEMENT' TRAINING: The RDGA Staff is continuing to hold training seminars for the new
USGA Tournament Management (or "TM") system at the RDGA offices. There's one more of these sessions planned - for 10 am on Friday, April 20 - but the staff will continue to be available for TM questions at any time thereafter.
If your club would like to send a representative to
this RDGA TM seminar, please contact Ryan Mehnert at:
ryanmehnert@RDGA.org. These seminars are perfect for your club's professional staff - or anyone who handles your club's tournament scoring and preparation.
Remember, the USGA TM is a FREE SERVICE being offered to RDGA Member Clubs and is REPLACING the older "TPP" software that had previously been used.
