Commencing Countdown for Display Week 2019

In less than three months' time, we'll be at Display Week in San Jose. We're especially excited about this venue for our international event because Silicon Valley is home to so many high-tech companies and academic institutions. The walk-in traffic at the shows in San Jose is always top-notch, adding even more quality to the mix of experts who attend Display Week from all over the world.

With the show this close, it is definitely time to pay attention to some key exhibiting deadlines. Be sure to take advantage of all the programs available to you, including the Exhibitors' Forum, exhibit guide (eBooth) listing, and especially our new on-site awards program, the People's Choice Awards.

The People's Choice Awards

For 2019, Display Week is rolling out an exciting new show awards program that will allow attendees and exhibitors to vote for their favorite exhibits and products on the show floor. (The People's Choice Awards will replace SID's Best in Show awards.) Voting will take place through a survey in the DW 2019 mobile app in the following six categories:

  • Best New Display Technology
  • Best New Display Component
  • Best Technology Demonstration
  • Best Small Booth
  • Best Medium Booth
  • Best Large Booth
Votes will be entered during Tuesday and Wednesday (May 14 and 15) at Display Week. Notifications will be sent to attendees during this period, reminding them to vote. Results will be announced on the show floor Thursday morning (May 16).

All exhibitors will be automatically entered into the "best booth" categories, but are responsible for making their own nominations in the best display technology, component, and demonstration categories prior to the show.  Enter your technology, component, and demonstration candidates here.
  • Best New Display Technology (a panel, module, or finished product)
  • Best New Display Component (this might be a film, glass, touch element, or other component)
  • Best Technology Demonstration (the way the product or technology is shown on the floor)

(Note: It is not necessary to enter in each category, but you may only enter once in each category.)

The deadline for exhibitors to self-nominate their candidates is May 1, 2019.
If questions, please email [email protected].

Major March Deadlines

The Exhibitors' Forum at Display Week is the chance to tell your company's story to a global audience of next-generation electronic display creators, technologists, value-add suppliers, and market-making end users who will be at Display Week this year.Your 15-minute presentation (including a Q&A period) will take place in a ballroom near the exhibit hall where a dedicated audience of attendees will be listening to your every word. Highly visible, on-site signage will point the way to the Exhibitors' Forum, and announcements will be made for each session via loudspeaker in the main exhibit hall. Registration for the 2019 Exhibitors' Forum is open. Display Week's New Hotel Promotion Program

Do you need a temporary headquarters for your company during Display Week 2019 in San Jose? Would you like Display Week to help promote the location of your hotel suite, meeting space, or hospitality lounge? With our new hotel promotion program, you can conduct business in your own private suite, meeting space, or hospitality lounge under the umbrella of the official Display Week program, gaining visibility and prestige for your company as a result.

Here's how the promotional program works: Secure your suite, meeting space, or hospitality lounge at a Display Week-approved hotel using Par Avion. • On the Display Week official website
  • In a pre-show eblast sent to all registered attendees two weeks before the show
  • In the printed Display Week Exhibit and Product Guide distributed at the show to all participants (deadline for this opportunity is March 12, 2019).
  • In the official Display Week Mobile App

Don't Forget Your Display Week Exhibitor Service Kit

This kit will help with all your exhibit planning needs! It contains the rules and regulations for setting up your exhibit space, as well as the official contractor forms, including booth furniture rental, electrical, lead management, floral, photography, and much more. Some forms are mandatory, while others are optional. We encourage you to read everything thoroughly. You can view the Exhibitor Service Kit here

Is your booth 200 square feet or larger? You will be required to hire union labor for set-up and dismantle. Every exhibitor 200 square feet or larger needs to submit an Exhibitor Appointed Contractors Form (EAC) and a Certificate of Insurance (COI). Click here for the form and additional information. The deadline to submit the information is April 15

Is your booth 400 square feet or larger? A drawing of the booth will need to be reviewed before the exhibition. The deadline to submit your blueprint is March 25. More information can be found here.

Vendor Fraud Warning

Please take a moment to review the Display Week 2019 vendor and fraud warning information. We strongly discourage you from working with any unapproved and non-vetted companies or vendors, as many are fraudulent.
