Dear Mission Friends,

In one of his homilies for the first Sunday of Advent, Fr. Mark Link, SJ, shared the following:
"Someone has observed that the most dangerous day of our lives comes when we learn the meaning of the word "tomorrow." For on that day we discover that we can put things off... And, of course, that frequently leads to a lot of trouble... Read more of Fr. Mark's Advent Message here.

Interfaith Dialogue Conference

On the very day that a gunman killed 11 people at the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh, a group of Metrowest residents gathered at Holliston's Temple Beth Torah for an event dedicated to promoting understanding and cooperation among people of diverse religious faiths.
Entitled "Listening and Loving: Honoring Our Diversity as Multifaith Neighbors," the two- day event, held at the temple on Oct. 27 and Our Lady of Fatima Shrine on Oct. 28, was the first such gathering sponsored by the Metrowest Interfaith Dialogue Project, launched in 2017 by Holliston clergy.  Advent Prayer

At Advent, we turn to the Prophet Isaiah to remind us of the Light we may partake of as we do the work of justice and peace.

This video  puts the lines of the prayer "May We Speak of Peace" to music for an easy-to-use resource for prayer and meditation.
