Thank you to RBA for Teaching Last Week's KIDesign
Each week during this Fall semester, AIA and the Oklahoma City Foundation for Architecture are teaching kids at Eugene Field Elementary about architecture.  Last week RBA led the effort.  Thanks RBA!!

KIDesign Items Needed
As you know, this fall we are hosting our KIDesign program every week at Eugene Fields Elementary and teaching 4th and 5th graders.  We'd love some help with building materials for approximately 35 students. We have limited storage space so these items must fit inside 2'x3' plastic tubs; and we don't need to fill more than 2-3 tubs. We would like for everything to be in usable shape - if you wouldn't incorporate it into your own architectural model, we don't want to offer it up to the kids. All materials need to be able to be cut with scissors and with no sharp edges.

Thanks again for your continued support.

What we need:

Balsa Wood (sheets, strips)
Chip Board
Cork Board
Foamcore
Corrugated Cardboard (in good condition, without words/labels)
Construction Paper
Posterboard
Dried Baby's Breath (or other fake foliage for trees)
Toilet Paper or Paper Towel Tubes
Cardboard tubes (possibly from plotter paper) cut into 1' to 2' lengths
Small (less than 3"x3") samples of laminate, carpet, or other materials from your sample library
Alene's Original Tacky Glue (gold bottle) (15 bottles)
Low-Temp Hot glue guns and glue (3-4 glue guns & 5 pkgs of glue)
