National Institute of Minority Health and Health Disparities Publishes Results From 2-Year Project
The American Journal of Public Health has published a special issue based on NIMHD-supported projects, which has resulted in over 20 publications. These articles cover a breadth of topics ranging from adapting interventions to leveraging big data, and will serve as a valuable resource for NRMN mentees and mentors.

From iBiology, NRMN is excited to announce a new course
aimed at senior level undergraduates, graduate students, and post-docs:

"How do I design an experiment that will give a clear answer to my question?

What are my controls?"

This FREE 6-week course will help you answer these questions and launch your scientific career. By the end of this course, you will have a detailed understanding of experimental design and execution.

Dr. Roland Owens is the Director of Research Workforce, Office of Intramural Research, Office of the Director, National Institutes of Health, and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. 

Dr. Owens' reseach focused on adeno-associated viruses, and he has won numerous awards related to research and mentoring.

Data for Black Lives II Conference Streams Available


The Data for Black Lives II Conference was hosted at the Massachusetts Institute for Technology last January. 

Now, they have made live streams available of panels and workshops on Facebook and Youtube. Topics range from the affects of climate change, algorithm biases, to the U.S. Census, and more.
