Today's Program: Fort Myers Beach Chamber

Today's speaker was Jacki Liszak, President of this chamber. She has been president for two years. She discussed the situation with the water quality on and near the beach. She also holds a position on a panel of people that are addressing current water problem. Some businesses are losing a million dollars a week in revenue.
The chamber sponsors/hosts many events, one of the most popular is the sand sculpting competition on the beach beginning Nov 16th. There is also an event on Oct 25th, a drowning symposium.

Our club is a chamber member and we are grateful to the chamber for selling dining books for us and many of them.
