To be kicked off in April
Emerging Leaders is every worker, and those that support the manufacturing industry, that are now transitioning into a leadership role within their company. The TSMA Emerging Leaders mission is to bring all of you together to discuss, promote, and lead the way on topics such as:
- ‘Think Tank’ on how TSMA can better serve the needs of next generation, and emerging leaders in our membership and industry
- Special emerging leader events
- Topics and events that better serve emerging leaders
- Identification of tools and programs to assist emerging leaders in our industry
- Outreach and idea sharing
- And more.
The first event will be held sometime in April. Watch for details via email. Please send millennials from your company to the event.

Meet Dream Team Member Cody Cirks
Cody earned a two-year degree from Alexandria Technical College and four-year degrees in Manufacturing Management and Quality Management from University of Minnesota Crookston (UMC). He attended Alexandria Technical and Community College during the day, worked at Douglas Scientific at night, and completed the two degrees with UMC on the weekends online. Cody believes it is important for youth to “understand the return on investment that a manufacturing-related education/career pathway will yield.” He works as a Customer Quality Engineer at FORCE America, Inc. in Alexandria, Minnesota.
