Now that your vision is starting to take shape, key skills need to be developed in the not-so-subtle art of the pitch. Without a cohesive and compelling pitch of how you will bring your ideas to the real world, your vision will dissipate. In this boot camp you will learn keys to pitching like a pro and practice in front of former judges to get ready for the final oral presentation round of the Innovation Challenge.
There are many reasons we do not just copy and paste tables and graphs into our manuscripts. We must communicate our interpretations of the results and relate them to the aim(s) of the research. We may need to offer background information as to why a particular result occurred. Results do not speak for themselves; if they did the tables and graphs would be enough.
