The 2018 CME Conference & Scientific Exhibition is a Success!
The reviews are in! Our 2018 conference rated a 4.5 out of 5 stars! This year saw more than 135 attendees receive 25 hours of Category 1-A AOA credit. This CME was also approved for 24.75 hours of AAFP credit. Our Saturday program offered both ACLS recertification as well as lectures on opioid prescribing.

Michael Baron, DO Installed as GOMA 2018-2019 President
President's Luncheon
Michael Baron, DO spoke to the crowd of physicians, medical students and guests after his installation as President of GOMA on Saturday November 3, 2018. He initially recalled events from his first installation as president in 1997, and then went on to express thanks to his parents who immigrated to the United States and to his teachers and mentors.

ROME Southeast
June 13-16, 2019

GOMA will once again be working with AOA, North Carolina Osteopathic Medical Association and South Carolina Osteopathic Medical Association to create a Regional Osteopathic Medical Education program (ROME) which will be held at the Hyatt Regency in Savannah, GA on Thursday June 13 th through Sunday June 16 th , 2019. Make sure you put it on your calendar.
Physician's Day at the Capitol!

GOMA will be once again working with our Primary Care Coalition to make legislators aware of critical issues. Please join the GOMA table across the street from the Georgia gold dome on Thursday, February 28, 2019 for breakfast and a summary of issues of the 2019 session. Then, walk across to meet with your legislators. You will spend a day out of the office, but it could make a major difference on all the rest of your days of practice.
