Adoration prayers for Alumni in God's Service

Adoration on Friday, January 4th will begin with 7:15 a.m. mass. Our intentions will be for alumni that are currently working in the missionary field. We currently have 4 alumni, that we will be praying for in January: Maria Schmitz who is teaching in Belize as a volunteer with Society of our Lady of the Holy Trinity; Collin Konetzke who is a FOCUS (Fellowship of Catholic University Students) missionary at the University of Rhode Island; Sam Schultz who is working in Youth Ministry in Colorado and Phil Griffith with Spiritus as a missionary. What a privilege we have to lift up these faith-filled young adults in prayer.  We also hope that it may spark vocation in our current students.

Here are the special intentions for the rest of the school year (Alumni in the priesthood):
February 8th: Fr. Matt Rappl '09
March 1st: Fr. Ryan Krueger '00
April 5th: Fr. Dan Griffith '89
May 3rd: Fr. Bill Swichtenberg '73

All adoration dates begin with 7:15 am mass with Fr. Jon Thorsen.

Any help in spreading the word about our special intention would be great! Please sign up for adoration.

May They Rest In Peace

On Thursday, November 1, St. Mary Catholic High School celebrated a Remembrance Mass with special prayers for alumni and friends of the school who passed away in the previous year. Each deceased member of our community was represented by a family member or student who carried a lit candle as part of the procession into Mass. During the liturgy, the names of deceased loved ones were read aloud as part of the litany.
