25th Sunday in Ordinary Time
"The Lord is near to all who call upon Him."
Weekly message from Fr. Mike
Grace Ward passed away this week. Her funeral is tomorrow, Friday, September 18 at 3:00 PM. It will be streamed live on our Youtube channel. Karen Wheeler's funeral is Saturday, September 19 at 10:00 AM. This funeral will not be streamed live.

Catechetical Sunday
This weekend we celebrate Catechetical Sunday. We are blessed to have parishioners of all ages who give of their time to share the teachings of the Church with our children, our youth, and those adults who are looking to be fully initiated into the Church. We will give a blessing to those who are a blessing to us. Please keep these people in your prayers through the coming year.

Latin America Collection
This weekend we will take up a second collection for the Church in Latin America. There are many ways the Church there can use our help. Your generosity is appreciated. You may give online or via envelope.

Parish Buildings & Grounds Work Day
This Saturday, September 19, is our buildings & grounds work day. We will begin at 8 AM and end around Noon. Any time you can give will be helpful.

Featured Advertiser
Members of our parish and local community purchased ads on the back of our Sunday bulletin. These ads cover the entire cost of not only the bulletin, but also the “myParish app” and a large portion of our parish website costs. Even though we aren't publishing a paper bulletin right now, we encourage you to support our advertisers as a sign of gratitude. In the coming weeks we are going to be featuring an advertiser every week.

You can find this week's Prayers of the Faithful here.

Zoom rosary
Everyone is invited to join the rosary group on Zoom. They meet every evening at 6:00 PM. It takes about 20 minutes. October is the month of the rosary and October 7th is the feast of the Holy Rosary.

During every appearance of the Blessed Mother she asks us to pray for Peace; and right now I think we really need peace in our country and the world.

There is no commitment, come once, twice or as often as you like. We have been meeting since the later part of March and we have a secure zoom site. Currently there are about 10 of us who come together to pray, but most often 6 of the ten can make it on any given night.
