Urgent Care or Emergency Room?
Urgent care centers serve non-life threatening but immediate healthcare needs. Emergency Department (ED) use
should be reserved for life-threatening emergencies that need the highest level of care. To reduce unnecessary, expensive ED visits please help educate your patients on
when to visit the ED versus urgent care
and encourage same-day appointments in your practice.
