And the winner is...
Junior Achievement of Central Indiana has chosen 4 lucky winners from those students who successfully completed and turned in their passports at JA JobSpark. Our winners represented 4 different schools and districts: Center For Inquiry 84, St. Richards Episcopal School, Alexandria-Monroe Jr/Sr High, and Eastwood Middle School. Thank you so much to the Microsoft Store at the Fashion Mall for providing great prizes for our student winners!

Student Experience
Prior to attending JA JobSpark, students participated in a career-readiness curriculum created by Junior Achievement of Central Indiana and facilitated by classroom teachers.

At the event students learned about skills needed for jobs that will be in demand when they graduate though hands-on experiences in eight career clusters.

Students began the JA JobSpark experience with mostly abstract notions and left the event with real insights on the industries that interest them, what specific jobs are like and the education that is required to be successful in those jobs.

"This was our first year participating in JA JobSpark and what an incredible two days watching inquisitive and excited 8th graders descend on the Fairgrounds! What fun showing these students what we do in the automotive world with our hands-on exhibits. Our employees along with automotive high school and automotive post-secondary students volunteered to help out and caught the fever of JA JobSpark! They all had so much fun interacting with each student who tried out our experiences. One student at a time...that is all it takes to spark their futures!"
