Established in 2018 by the State of Maryland, in partnership with the
Association of Climate Change Officers

Maryland Climate Leadership Academy
will advance the capacity of state and local government agencies, infrastructure organizations and businesses to develop and implement sound climate change initiatives ensuring current and future public health, security, and economic prosperity.
Chesapeake College, Wye Mills, Maryland, hosted the inaugural meeting and provided a guided tour of the grounds which includes a LEED Platinum building, green infrastructure projects, solar panels, and electric vehicle charging stations.
