UNIVERSITY OF COUNTY GOVERNMENT - PRESENTED BY COMAL COUNTY
Applications are now open for residents wishing to attend Comal County’s seventh annual University of County Government.
University of County Government is an award-winning introduction to the role and function of county government as well as the offices and departments that serve Comal County residents.
Classes take place each Tuesday from 6-9 p.m., beginning March 5 and ending May 7 with recognition at the subsequent Commissioners Court meeting, May 9. All county residents are eligible to apply for the class, which is limited to 30 students. Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
The class initially meets in the historic Comal County Courthouse, with other sessions taking place at other county facilities, including tours of the County Jail, Extension Office and Elections Center.

2019 Comal Master Gardener Class
The upcoming class for becoming a Comal Master Gardener will begin with orientation on January 16, 2019. The class will meet each Wednesday from 12:00-5:00 at the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Center, 325 Resource Dr., New Braunfels TX, 78132. The final class will be on May 1st and graduation will be held at the McKenna Center on May 8th.
