"The job of an educator is to teach students to see the vitality in themselves."
-Joseph Campbell
As we get older and go through the motions of everyday life, many of us leave behind our favourite activities and forget to play. You know the drill: Wake up. Go to work. Run errands. Come home. Have dinner. Watch T.V. Go to bed. Rinse. Repeat.
Sometimes we need a reminder that creativity can bring a lot of joy into our lives - if we let it.
Winter is a great time to
reconnect with that buried sense of play with a slew of
fun and playful courses to reignite your creativity. There are wet felting classes, jewellery, image transfer classes, glass fusion, and tons of painting and drawing options for visual artists. The sky is the limit! As always, we've assembled a team of talented Artist instructors to lead, coach and teach and they are all eager to help you unleash your inner artist!
Also, as added inspiration, let us remind you that we will be having our Studio Soiree at the
Peterborough gallery on
Friday, January 4, 6 - 9pm
and
Thursday January 10, in Port Perry from 6 - 9pm.
What's a Studio Soiree you ask? It's a party! It's a night where we celebrate our students and instructors, show off their work, drink a glass of wine, sample some goodies and have loads of fun. This is a great opportunity to come down and see the fruits of our student's labour. We'd love to see you! Come get inspired......
Join META4 instructors and students at our semi-annual open houses for an inspired evening of show and tell.
