PTA Highlights
Dear Parents,

We hope you all survived the snow day and are staying safe and warm with this cold spell!

We had a great Fruit and Veggie Challenge and your kids enjoyed showing off their colorful lunches and participating in the grade level competition. Thank you for your efforts! Don't forget to have your child(ren) complete their Fruit & Veggie challenge chart and bring it to school on Monday.

Please mark your calendars for the early release next week on Wednesday, March 13th.  And, STEM fair forms are due today so please submit any last entries.  We are impressed by all the incredible submissions to date!

Lastly, we wanted to highlight the new GaGa Pit and Mini Golf 9-Course set (see photo below) that the PE department has been enjoying with our kids thanks to funding at the fall fundraiser.

Have a great weekend!

YOUTH EQUIPMENT DONATIONS NEEDED
We are currently supporting Greenwich High School's Youth Equipment Sharing Club (Y.E.S.) in their annual used sport equipment collection drive. They are collecting all types of equipment including balls, soccer shin pads and goalkeeper gloves, baseball mits and bats, lacrosse and hockey pads, cleats, etc.

They then organize the equipment and donate it to programs that allow underpriviledged athletes to compete.  Examples of past donation recipients include Harlem RBI Baseball and Bridgeport Youth Lacrosse - as well as the occasional international donation (children in rural communities in Guatemala received donated soccer balls a couple years ago).

Deadline to donate is March 22.  There is a marked bin at the front of school to collect donations.
