Storm Debris Removal

No doubt there will be property owners who want to remove the debris left in their yards from the recent winter storm. If you're planning to pick up the debris and drop it off at the Timbercreek Mulch Site yourself, please leave debris as close to the debris pile as possible. Please do not leave it in or near the area that is staked off, which is the location of the expanded boat storage area.

If you prefer, the Village Public Works Department will remove debris as long as it is placed near the road in the right-of-way. You must call Public Works to request a debris removal by calling 910-457-5422 or 910-457-9700. Please be patient when requesting this service. Public Works staff is doing a yeoman's job of cleaning up the island and it may take longer than usual to get to everyone.
