This Sunday in Worship
Services at 9 & 11:15 a.m.
This Sunday, March 10, we will observe the first Sunday of Lent. We will be incorporating artwork by Char DeVos during this Lenten season. Her series of works on Lenten themes is currently on display in the Chapel. Please make time to visit this powerful exhibit.
Sunday, at the 9:00 and 11:15 worship services students from Edgewood High School will help with worship leadership by presenting two selections from their musical
Godspell
. A full production of
Godspell
will be presented here in our Sanctuary March 15, 16, and 17. Edgewood is renting space here because they currently have no theatre, a beautiful new Performing Arts Center is under construction. Edgewood students and directors wanted to share messages from the Gospels with our congregation. The chancel may look a little different on Sunday as we incorporate elements of their set into our traditional worship space.

Coming March 15-17: Edgewood High School's Godspell
Edgewood HS will be performing the musical Godspell, right here at FUMC! Find the dates and times, or order tickets. Godspell takes the stories of the Gospel of Matthew and mixes them with contemporary music and references to provide a timeless message on the importance of community. In an age where "being connected" is often referred to, but not often lived out, the musical allows us to explore friendship, engaging and collaborating with diverse people in our complex lives, loyalty and love, and learn what it means to truly live in community, embracing and working towards diversity and inclusion, as Christians.
