First class stamp price increase The cost of a stamp will increase from $.50 to $.55 on Sunday, January 27. This is a good time to buy ahead since the Book Shop carries Forever Stamps. This means you will purchase for $.50 and use anytime, even after a price increase. For large departmental purchases, please email bookshopweb with your order before Wednesday, January 23.

OFF-CAMPUS STUDY DEADLINES COMING UP!  Thinking of studying/interning abroad or elsewhere in the U.S. during summer 2019, fall 2019, spring 2020 or the 2019-20 year? G et the ball rolling by talking with an advisor during J-Term!  Fill out this form  to request the appropriate application  and/or to request an advising session.

Books for Spring Term 2019 are available to order from the Luther Book Shop website, www.lutherbookshop.com ., beginning Friday, January 11 at 3:00 p.m. A comparison site page will be able to be viewed beginning Thursday afternoon, January 10. Books will be available to purchase IN the Book Shop beginning Monday, January 28.

It's National Squirrel Week Saturday—Saturday, January 12-19 in the Book Shop, and Martin is offering 25% OFF all Clearance items. Get "Nutty" with the Book Shop and start gathering clearance items.


RERUNS
Sing, Laugh, Pray! Join us for chapel on Monday, Wednesday & Friday, 10:30-10:50 a.m. in the Center for Faith and Life, Recital Hall. Liz Rog will lead Music that Makes Community for Monday chapels on January 7, 21 & 28.  Pastor Laura Gentry, LC '92, will lead Laughter Yoga for Wednesday chapels in J-term. The labyrinth will be set up on Fridays from
10:30 a.m.- 1:00 p.m. All chapels will be in the CFL Recital Hall except for Monday, January 14 when we welcome Dorian Vocal Festival guests with chapel in the Main Hall.

SAC Cinema presents The Breakfast Club : " Five high school students meet in Saturday detention and discover how they have a lot more in common than they thought (IMDB.com)."  The movie is on Friday, January 11 at 7:30 p.m. in Valders 206. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. Free with CAF and $5 without. Free popcorn while supplies last! Tickets available on-line , at the Ticket Office, or at the door.

Luther College, in partnership with Decorah Bank & Trust invite all area families and friends to enjoy an afternoon of food, fellowship and fun at the 2019 Mid-Winter Community Day on Saturday, January 12, in the Regents Center. Registration can be completed  online  or by calling the Alumni Office, 387-1164 or  (800) 225-8664 . The community day pizza party is $2 for adults, no charge for children 18 and under.
