I waited patiently for the Lord; he turned to me and heard my cry.
He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire;
he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand.

School Nurse
Important Reminders from
the PACS School Nurse:

Positive COVID-19 Test Self-Reporting Requriements:

The timely reporting (24 hours) of a positive COVID-19 test result for a member of our school community is critical to the efficiency of our contact tracing efforts.

  • Within 24 hours of a parent receiving confirmation of a positive COVID-19 test result for their student, a report must be made to the school via the school’s Positive COVID-19 Test Self-Reporting Form.

  • The school nurse, individual teachers, and principals will be notified through the COVID-19 Self-Reporting Form. It is not necessary to email school personnel separately.
Known Exposure Self-Reporting Requirements:

If you or someone in your household has a “known exposure” (defined as 15 minutes or greater at a distance of six feet or less) to an individual who has tested positive for COVID-19, for the safety of others at Prince, your student must stay at home and self-quarantine for 14 days. A report of this exposure should be made on the school’s Known Exposure Self-Reporting Form.

  • The Known Exposure Self-Reporting Form should be filled out for each individual student with a known exposure.

  • The school nurse, individual teachers, and principals will be notified through the COVID-19 Self-Reporting Form. It is not necessary to email school personnel separately.

Chaplain's Corner
In Chapel this week, we spoke to our middle and high school students about the importance of finding rest in Christ. As we have begun to adapt back to a normal pace of life, one of the most important things we can lead our students to is a deep relationship with Jesus.

I am also very thankful for Ryan Wingo, the worship pastor at Prince Avenue Baptist Church who came led our time of worship for the students. It was a great example of the leadership and support we receive as a ministry of PABC to invest well in our students.
