A Free Webinar on creating a Virtual Choir
This is the first in a series of one hour webinars about Virtual Choirs presented by PRC, Practical Resources for Churches. This webinar is as much about the trans-formative power of song – even online - as it is about the basic process of creating a virtual ensemble. You’ll learn why and how these projects can connect your choir along with some simple ways to create a virtual ensemble.

October Presbytery 2020
Plans for 145th Presbytery of Arkansas virtual meeting on Friday and Saturday, October 23 and 24, are well underway. Worship on Friday evening will be led by First United Presbyterian Church in Fayetteville, with Judge and Pastor Wendell Griffen of Little Rock preaching. Judge Griffen will also be leading the theological discussion on Saturday morning, as the Presbytery emphasizes the “Dismantling Structural Racism” focus of the Matthew 25 initiative.

BOP Benefits Webinar
Last month the Board of Pensions provided a Benefits Webcast highlighting the 2021 Benefits Plan.

We are offering access to the webinar again divided into 4 separate one hour segments starting September 15.
The primary audience for the webinar are those key decision makers in a church, such as a member of Personnel, the Treasurer, Clerk of Session, Pastor, etc.

Those interested in participating are asked to send a request to Rev. Kevin S. Keaton at kkeaton@pensions.org for a GoToMeeting link and advance materials.
Advent-In-A-Box
Ferncliff is creating a resource for congregations and families to use during the advent season. The Ferncliff Advent-In-A-Box will provide Advent activities for busy families in a time when our holiday traditions have to look a bit different. Advent-In-A-Box will hold 4 sections of activities, one for each week of Advent. These advent activities will be low stress for parents, encourage family connection, and help you prepare for Christmas! The activities in Advent-In-A-Box are meant to be done flexibly over the course of the week, some individually and some as a family. In addition, there will be a surprise gift to help you celebrate Christ’s birth on Christmas!

Pastor, CRE, Church Leader Meetings
Join us as often as you can as we check in with and get to know other pastors and church professionals in our presbytery. You will hear what is happening in their lives and congregations as well as learn about opportunities and events available through the presbytery, synod, and denomination.

We zoom together every month on the 1st and 3rd Fridays and the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays. No meetings on 5th weeks. The meetings always start at 10:00am and always using the same presbytery link or number and password. If you need that information, contact Julie Price at julietannerprice@gmail.com.

Our next meeting is this Friday, September 4.
