This week we celebrate the holiday of Purim... a time for costumes, hamantashen, and fun! Did you know there are 4 basic mitzvot (commandments)?
1. Hear the Megillah (Book of Esther) read
2. Deliver a gift basket of food (mishloach manot)
3. Participate in a festive meal (Seudat Purim)
4. Give to the poor ( Matanot La'evyonim)

If you never knew about these specific 4 - I encourage you to pick one this year to test out with your children. The great thing (like all Jewish holidays) is that Purim comes around every year, so you always have a chance to learn something new as a family!
