Adopt-A-Book runs from:
Wednesday, October 24 through Sunday, January 6

We welcome you to help the library build its book collection.

An assortment including fiction, non-fiction, young adult, children's,  and spanish language books will be on display for patrons to "adopt" (purchase)  for the library.

 A commemorative book plate will be placed in the book and the  adopting
patron  gets to be the first to check the book out of the library!

English for Speakers of Other Languages Program:

English classes for those whose native language is not English have been
offered at New London Adult Education since 1910, helping thousands of
adults enter the mainstream of American life.
 
Classes will be held at the Library Monday through Thursday.

Gentle Yoga
Saturday, January 12, 2019

Join us for a free 40-minute yoga session for all ages!

Recommendations:
*Attire can be athletic or loose comfortable clothing.
*Yoga mat or thick padding for kneeling if needed.

Although children are encouraged to participate, there will be an optional
activity table available while session occurs.

A healthy snack will be provided after the session.

Note: There will be an optional 10-minute meditation after practice
for anyone interested.

The Art of Self Care through Ayurveda

workshop on Ayurvedic self care routines. An ayurvedic daily self care routine
helps to bring radical change in body, mind, and consciousness.

comprehensive  holistic approach by emphasizing routines, diet,
herbal remedies, yoga, meditation, breathing etc.
