Ambassadors Drop In On Businesses
Friday, January 12th and February 16th the Ambassador Membership Team completed their monthly Membership Walks in the Mangrove  area. Overall businesses stated they were having less issues than in the past, one reason being some of these businesses recently incorporated private patrol.  

Special Report Highlights Need for Better Roads, Public Safety
"Chico >> The Chico Chamber of Commerce is recommending a taxincrease to raise additional money for city services like police staffing, fire, and roadway improvements. Community Development Update
" Chico >> Improvements on Cohasset Road, north of East Avenue, will get started this spring and hopefully be done by the end of summer, according to city officials Thursday.  An update on Cohasset was among the Chico projects mentioned during the quarterly Community Development update, sponsored by the Chico Chamber, the city and Valley Contractors Exchange. Legislative Action Committee Discusses Cannabis
Tuesday February 20th  the Legislative Action Committee (LAC) met at Golden Valley Bank to discuss / hear: a guest presentation by Marti Fisher, California Chamber of Commerce lobbyist on cannabis; an update on the proposed locking dumpster ordinance; an update on Commercial Air Service, an update on the Community Development Update; an announcement of the 'Retail Watch' monthly meetings with Chico Police Department; and the announcement of the Special Report input sessions, February 22nd and February 26th. Join us for the next meeting Tuesday, March 20th, 7:30 a.m. at Golden Valley Bank.
