Parent/Teacher Conference Update
It looks like March really is our snowiest month yet! We hope everyone is staying safe and warm. Due to the weather, we have had to make some changes to the Parent/Teacher Conference schedules.
Elementary Conferences. Teachers will be reaching out to reschedule conferences that were cancelled due to the snow days. Watch for updated sign-up geniuses.
Middle School Conferences. The pre-scheduled conferences with individual families will still be held on Friday, March 15. We have scheduled a general make-up session in the gym on Tuesday,
March 26, 4-6pm.
This will be an opportunity to meet with middle school, foreign language, and specials teachers.

WCA is working to organize a career day on Tuesday,
May 7. We are looking for parent volunteers who are willing to come in to speak to students about your job and career.
-
Primary students will learn about what the job is and why it is important to the community.
-
Elementary students will learn what the job is and what skills are involved in doing it.
-
Middle schoolers will learn not only about the job, but also the education necessary for the career.
-
If your company or job has any international aspects, we would love to have that involved as well.
We are hoping to have many different professions represented for the students. The event will be taking place during the school day with different age groups of students filtering through at different times. If you are interested in volunteering for Career Day or know someone who might be, please contact
Kate Parker. Please note, depending on the amount of interest, we may not be able to accommodate all volunteers.
