The Social Justice Summit is an event designed for ISU students aimed at providing them with the opportunity to increase their awareness surrounding issues of inclusion and to develop action plans that will assist them in being agents of change on campus. The Iowa State Conference on Race and Ethnicity (ISCORE) is a comprehensive forum on issues of race and ethnicity at Iowa State University. The conference will take place Friday, March 2nd from 8:15AM-5:00PM in the Memorial Union.
The Ronald E. McNair Postbaccalaureate Achievement Program is now accepting applications for the fall 2018 cohort. Any interested sophomores are encouraged to apply. While the program is primarily interested in sophomores, the program does accept a few (1-3) graduating seniors. Applications are due Thursday, March 1st.
Are you looking for a new leadership opportunity to help improve health and wellness on campus? If so, then apply to be a Cyclone Health Ambassador! The Cyclone Health Ambassador Team (CHAT) will help build a culture of health and well-being on campus by conducting outreach on health and wellness resources, being key communicators of health and wellness, and serving in an advisory capacity to the Student Health and Wellness unit. Application deadline is Wednesday, March 7th!
The Admissions Campus Visits team is now recruiting students for their Student Admissions Representatives (STARS) position. STARS give daily campus and residence hall tours to prospective students and their families during the school. This is a great volunteer opportunity, a way to share your Cyclone pride, and a chance to gain valuable life skills! Applications are available now until Friday, March 9th.
The Minor League Baseball (MiLB) 'Fostering Inclusion through Education and Leadership'  (FIELD) Program is now accepting applications for the class of 2018! The FIELD Program is a week-long program hosted in Florida that introduces selected participants to the game and the business of professional baseball. Applications are due Friday, March 16th.  
The Multicultural Student Leadership Council (MSLC) has some available funding left for the semester that student organizations can apply for to alleviate costs for their events. Guidelines and applications can be found at this link.
The Brighter Future Focused Summit is a summit that will address the needs and potential of women and girls of color. The event is Saturday, March 31st at Old Brick in Iowa City, IA. Registration is $20.00 but scholarships are available. Click here for more information.
