Luvk9s January monthly newsletter
Happy New Year! Did you know that according to Chinese astrology, 2018 is the Year of the Dog? It's going to be a "grrrreat" year!

January is National Train Your Dog month, and the Association of Professional Dog Trainers is offering free webinars for the public on a variety of subjects including dog safety for children, what you should know about owning a large breed dog, tips for new puppy owners as well as tips for senior dog owners.
Indoor activities for your dog
Too bitterly cold for a walk? Is it raining cats and dogs? Looking for something to do with your dog indoors to burn off some energy?
Never fear - help is here!

Breed of the month: Yuki,
the Bernese Mountain Dog
Yuki lives in Big Canoe; his dog "sister" Katie is also a Great Bernese Mountain Dog.

The Great Bernese Mountain Dog is one of four types of Swiss Mountain Dogs and the only one with long hair.

Did you know that the Great Bernese Mountain Dog can pull up to 1,000 pounds? This breed has an innate desire to work, yet makes a great family pet.

Upcoming group classes
January group classes will be starting next week. There's still time to sign up!

In addition to puppy and basic obedience classes, we'll also be offering a sniff n' seek class (which will teach your dog to use his nose), a tricks class (your dog can earn his AKC trick dog title) and agility classes (your dog will love jumping and running through tunnels!)

All classes are indoors - this is a great way to have fun, tire out your dog and be warm!
