Legislative Session Less than Three Weeks Away
The legislative session is set to begin less than three weeks from now on Monday, Jan. 14, 2019. The first week of a new General Assembly is typically busy with the new members getting settled and the governor giving her condition of the state address, as well as the chief justice giving the state of the judiciary address. This year, the first week will also include the inauguration on Friday, Jan. 18 for Gov. Reynolds.

Workforce, Competitive Business Climate, Regulatory Reform Top ABI Priorities for 2019

DNR to Host Fee Advisory Meeting
The DNR will hold a fee advisory meeting on Jan. 29 to review with stakeholders the air quality budget for the 2020 fiscal year. The meetings will be held at the Wallace Building, 502 E. 9th St. in Des Moines, on the second floor.
