TOT SHABBAT & KABBALAT SHABBAT
This Friday, we will have a
"TOT SHABBAT",
which is a service geared for children 10 years of age and under with their families (not just 'tots'). The service will begin at 5:30pm, include some simple songs, a few prayers, a children's blessing, Israeli dancing, and "S'Torah-telling" around the Torah. The service will end by 6:15pm. Please let your friends with younger children know!
Our regular Kabbalat Shabbat Service will begin at 6:30pm with Kiddush and Oneg to follow.
~ 5:30pm - Tot Shabbat Service
~ 6:30pm - Kabbalat Shabbat Service
SHABBAT MORNING SERVICE
w/ Torah Reading
~ 9:30am
Because Temple Sinai has not had regular Saturday morning services with Torah readings, often one of the first such services our students have is at their own Bat or Bar Mitzvah. To help give their B'nei Mitzvah more context and familiarity, we are having a few Shabbat Shacharit (morning) services with Torah Reading. The Morning Service this week is one of these. This is a beautiful start to the day, so please plan to join us
. Also, note that our weekly Torah Study will be taking place at 4:00pm rather than after the morning service, due to the extended time needed for the Torah reading.
TORAH STUDY w/ HAVDALAH
~ 4:00pm
Torah study will begin at 4:00pm and will be followed this week by a Havdalah Service to close out Shabbat.
Our Torah Study is a vibrant exchange of ideas about the weekly Torah portion, bringing both traditional commentary and recent scholarship to bear on the text. It is a lively salon style, participatory Torah study where all are welcome, and no background or Hebrew is needed.

Thank You for
Your Thoughts and Prayers
Great News! Meg Cossaboom, our Choir Director and Accompanist, is feeling much better. As many of you know, s
he has been in and out of the hospital for treatment for an auto-immune disorder. She has been released from rehab and is continuing her recovery at home. She was back practicing with us for Purim this past Sunday. She thanks you all for your thoughts and prayers during her recovery.
As you know, healthcare expenses are astronomical this day in age. A friend of Meg's has set up a Go Fund Me page to help with her expenses. If you would like to give, please click below.
